The Tadpole Haul Chassis (HAUL rig) is a wide-body cargo attachment that turns the Tadpole into a mobile expedition platform. It adds a 15-slot internal storage bay and lets up to 4 players ride simultaneously — 1 pilot plus 3 passengers on external handholds. Top speed drops slightly to 8 m/s with reduced acceleration compared to the Scout Ray Chassis, but the storage capacity makes mining runs far more efficient. Blueprint found in Root Canyon biome (3-part scan).

Tips:

  1. Equip for mining runs where you need to haul large amounts of ore — pairs perfectly with Karakorum Metal Farms trips.
  2. In co-op, the HAUL rig lets the entire group travel together and share inventory without awkward drop-and-pickup chains.
  3. Swap to the [scout-ray-chassis] for speed runs and Leviathan evasion.
