The Bullethead (Panopliateuthis velos, "armored fast squid") is a pack-hunting cephalopod found in the Observatory Ruins at 100–500m depth. Individually durable (1,000 HP) despite their small size, Bulletheads attack in coordinated groups and are disproportionately dangerous for their appearance. They are the scan target for the Camouflage biomod — worth the risk of bioscanning them in their home biome.

Notes
Behavior: Pack attacker. Groups of 3–5 Bulletheads attack simultaneously — each individual is manageable, the swarm is not.
Biomod unlock: Bioscanning the Bullethead (with Bioscanner) unlocks the Camouflage passive biomod — invisibility while stationary, the single best predator-avoidance tool in the game.
Strategy: If attacked by a pack, use the Dash biomod to break line-of-sight behind a rock or wreck segment. Camouflage (once unlocked via bioscanning) shuts down the attack instantly.
