The Cerathecan (Exile cerathecan) is an upright, double-valved shell creature that ambushes prey with a devastating bite. Found in the Observatory biome at 50–250m depth, it is one of the most dangerous creatures in that zone — its single bite deals 100 damage, one of the highest single-hit attacks in the game. Approach any area with shells standing vertically at attention with extreme caution, especially before you have Strike Armor installed.
