Found across Observatory, Shallows, and Power Plant biomes at 0–350m depth, it is defensive and will discharge when threatened or bumped. Bioscanning the Surge Jelly (with Bioscanner) + Hammerhead unlocks the Homing Sense passive biomod (HUD ping near powered bases).
