A solar panel module that mounts on the Tadpole's hull and trickle-charges the onboard Power Cell whenever the sub is in shallow water during daylight hours. While not a full replacement for dock charging, it meaningfully extends range on surface and shallow-water operations — particularly useful for reconnaissance in the Shallows before you establish a Moonpool. Blueprint found in the Power Plant biome near a starship wreck southeast of the purple base.

Effect: Trickle-charges Power Cell during daytime in shallow water. Does not work in deep water or at night.
Tips:
- Best paired with 3–4× [engine-efficiency] modules: the efficiency extension means you rarely need to return to base to recharge.
- Useful during early game before you build a Moonpool + Tadpole Dock — surface or park in shallows during the day to partially top up.
- Will not fully charge a depleted Power Cell on its own — plan for at least one dock charge per long expedition.
